Response to Winning isn't everything

I don’t know very much about football and to say the least I could not be more uninterested in this article. Although I’m not a raging football fan as are some people I do agree that winning is not everything. If you play your hardest and really work at it then you deserve to win. In professional sports you have millions of people watching you play and in then end it just comes down to how you present yourself. Say you’re a professional player of a sport and you act with poor sportsmanship. Your millions of fans are watching you play and they see all this poor sportsmanship. After watching you act the way you do they might even take it as far as changing their favorite team and that means you lose money. Even if you’re not a professional player no one ever likes poor sportsmanship. If you play your game and you really work your hardest and you have good sportsmanship along the way then your fans are proud to be on your side regardless if you win or lose. So, I agree that winning is not everything.

  1. I agree with you that if you work your hardest you deserve to win but in sports it seems like winning is everything to be honest because if you ever see teams that are winless with huge fan support no you don't. One because no one likes watching losers. Two because winning is everything.

  2. I like how you brought what the fans view and see as fair and how the players should worry about what the fans think of them. I agree with this because without us, they wouldn't have a paycheck right now or at least not one thats worth millions.

  3. I don't see how winning could be everything. The Patriots win a lot yet everyone hates them. Why? Because they were willing to cheat to win and no one likes cheaters.
